Endodontic Case Studies: Separated Instruments
This gentleman presented with a fractured instrument and an extruded silver point in tooth #7 and a draining fistula. After removing the instrument,we had to surgically access the silver point and clean the canal space from both ortho- and retrograde access. The canal was obturated with MTA. You can see on the 2+ year recall film to the right, that a very large bony lesion is completely healed.
